♻️ CURBSIDE RECYCLING PICKUP IS STARTING!

Great news, Pas! 🎉 Starting August 17th,
Tri-Com Recycling will be beginning curbside recycling pickup around town!

📍 We’ll be following the same route as the regular garbage collection route, making it easy for you to know when to put your recycling out.

♻️ Here’s how you can help:

• Have your recycling ready on your regular garbage collection day
• Keep recyclables clean and free of garbage
• Make sure your recycling is easily accessible for our collection crew

♻️ Clean recycling = better recycling! By taking a few extra seconds to sort properly, you’re helping us keep more material out of the landfill and giving recyclable materials a second life.

Please share this post with your friends and family, so everyone knows that curbside recycling pickup is starting!

♻️ Thank you for Recycling ♻️ 💚

While Tri Com Recycling is making their preparations to scale back up, the Town of The Pas knows that there are many commercial buildings that require recycling pick-up, to keep operational.

For these businesses, please call the Town Office to make arrangements for pickup.

If you received pickup from the recycling center in 2025, you will be billed according to your 2025 average billing. Those businesses that didn’t pay in 2025 will be charged $50/meter cubed (with some amount of grace to consider compaction).

We currently encourage those businesses that are able to take recycling directly to the landfill to do so without charge.

For any other recycling-related questions, please refer to the Tri-Com Recycling page for official announcements.
