The next Household Hazardous Waste collection event is on Saturday, June 21 between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Clean Harbors Canada in St. Clair Township. You can bring your HHW to these events for disposal by experts, at no cost to you.

We had a great time at the Thedford Santa Claus parade tonight. We won best Theme. (Retro Christmas) We went with 80’s basement scene. Good times had by all.

The Thedford Optimist Club is so excited to announce we will be hosting this years Santa Claus parade, Saturday December 2nd, 2023 with a “RETRO CHRISTMAS” theme!

🎅 NO FEE OR REGISTRATION REQUIRED FOR THOSE WISHING TO PLACE A FLOAT IN THE PARADE!

🎅 Line up for floats begins at the corner of Main & Second St (continuing down Deacon St) between 5:30pm-6pm for judging, etc!

🎅 Parade to begin at 6:30pm, following standard route!

Please bring a non-perishable food item along to the parade as the Knox Presbyterian Church, Thedford, Ontario, Canada & Thedford Community Youth Group Float will be collecting items for Contact House in Forest!

We have so many exciting things planned afterwards, so make sure to come out with the whole family! Join us at the Legacy Recreation Centre (16 Allen Street) following the parade for a meet & greet with Santa & a treat bag (while supplies last)! There will be a local LIVE BAND playing too that you don’t want to miss!

The Lambton Shores Swans will also be providing hot chocolate & hot dogs (FREE of charge) at the Legacy Recreation Centre (16 Allen Street) during the free skate offered by Lambton Shores!

It’s going to be a great night, we hope to see you all there! ❄️🎄
