In this episode Emily talks to fellow Cultivating Safe Spaces facilitator Sharon Marshall. They share how they found out about CSS and their experiences taking the training, as well as their experiences at Royal Roads University.

Sharon is the founder of DEVA, a full-service Staffing Agency providing temporary recruitment, as well as digital literacy and administrative training for Indigenous women.

Weird that this is coming on April 1st, but this is not an April Fools post.

After much consideration, I've decided to close Emily Shandruk Solutions. It's been an incredible journey, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to everyone who supported me along the way, especially Chelsey Lokstet who has not only been my right hand, but my left hand, most of my brain and definitely in my heart. Chelsey has been such an inspiration and without her, we wouldn't have the podcast, or any of the amazing memories captured on social media.

There are still two episodes of Hear's A Solution to come, and this page and our Instagram page will remain as a resource for anyone searching for employee relations tips, resources, etc.

Also, FEAR NOT, I am not 100% leaving the world of entrepreneurship. Instead of juggling three companies, Brook Dallaire and I will be working together under her umbrella and offering special event coordination, workshops and all the amazing social media management that you have come to know and depend on.

Entrepreneurship is undoubtedly challenging, but the lessons learned and the connections made are invaluable. I wouldn't change a thing about this adventure. Thank you for being part of it!
