🗣️ We’re diving in to make a difference! 🧜‍♀️🌊

We’re thrilled to announce that the Lakehead Social Planning Council | 211 North is taking part in the Great Lighthouse Rescue, a fundraising challenge hosted by United Way of Thunder Bay !

Our team—the Southside Mermaids—is swimming together to raise funds that support people in our community facing crisis, isolation, poverty, and food insecurity. Every pledge helps us continue vital work like:

✅ Connecting isolated seniors to emergency support
✅ Helping families access food, shelter, and basic needs
✅ Providing free tax clinics and crisis navigation services

💡 Together, we can rescue the lighthouse and light the way for those in need.
