Lawrence Pazner, Barbara Cheifetz and James Jeffrey from CAN-AM Recycling Inc., presented Plasman with an Earth Day Recycling Recognition Award on April 20, 2023.
CAN-AM Recycling recognized Plasman for their efforts to better sort, identify and ship their scrap plastics. Can-AmRecycling presented the Earth Day Award to the Environmental Team at Plasman tocommemorate Earth Day.
Every year, Can-Am Recycling awards one of the companies that supplies them with scrapplastics the Earth Day Award. These companies take recycling seriously and use their time and resources to better separate and identify their scrap plastic to maximize the value and recovery. Can-Am Recycling Inc. is an industrial plastic recycling company focusing on recycling scrapplastic from the automotive manufacturing industry. Plasman is an Automotive Tier 1 supplier operating in 11 countries.

We are a plastics recycling facility that is continuously expanding and are currently looking for general labourers/sorters.
We are looking for individuals that are strong, active, and possess a solid work ethic backed up by references. The primary role is the sorting of plastic recyclables and other general labour duties.
We offer full-time steady day shifts Monday to Friday with health and dental benefits offered after 90-days.

Requirements:
- The ability to operate electric/hand tools and other equipment is considered an asset but is not required
- Must be physically capable of working in all weather conditions
- Must be physically capable of bending, lifting in excess of 30lbs, and standing for lengthy periods of time
- Must be able to provide own reliable transportation to and from work.
- Valid driver’s license is considered an asset.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset
- Machine operating experience considered an asset.
- Must be able to provide own safety equipment (i.e. steel toe shoes)
