HumanInTech (H.I.T.)

Armstrong Yard Care Expands to Full-time Services with Boost from Starter Company Plus

TIMMINS, ON - The Business Enterprise Centre is proud to celebrate the success of Eric Armstrong, owner and operator of Armstrong's Yard Care, a full-service landscaping and outdoor maintenance company based in Schumacher.

Eric, a Timmins-area entrepreneur with 14 years of hands-on experience in the landscaping industry, has been operating Armstrong's Yard Care as a part-time venture. He has now transitioned the business to full-time operation to meet growing demand for reliable, professional yard care services in the community. He offers landscaping, stump grinding, grass cutting, spring and fall cleanups, snow clearing, and specialized pet cleanup.

Eric registered for the Spring 2026 intake of the Starter Company Plus program to assist with the expansion to full-time, and the support proved pivotal. “The Starter Company Plus Program gave me the push I needed to move forward with starting my own landscaping company. It has always been a dream of mine to start my own business and this program gave me the tools necessary to start and be successful. The $5000.00 grant at the end was a great bonus to purchase some much-needed equipment. I would highly recommend this program.”
