The CEO of Lingo Learn, Laura Martin, delivered a keynote speech yesterday on why you need to "P**s People Off!"

We know this sounds scrappy and counter-intuitive... but here's the thing: if you're not pi***ng someone off I promise that you have NOT said ANYTHING important!

NOT taking a stand and being your radically authentic self is HURTING your career. You aren't giving your customers or your team members the care that comes with *constructive* criticism. You aren't showing your true self.

A wise man once said, "To avoid criticism, do nothing, say nothing, and BE nothing."

The point is, doing anything REMOTELY interesting will bring criticism, but it will also help you find YOUR PEOPLE! The ones that will cheerlead, get value from and trust your expertise.

We hope that her speech inspired those who attended to move past the fear of being vulnerable, exposing their cards and picking a side.

The magic that happens when you live into your values and share authentically is absolutely worth it, but there's only ONE way to find out... GET ON VIDEO AND DO IT!
