Just a little practical advice, especially for youths and young adults..

Do not despise small beginnings. Whether it is in your work, or in trying to be an adult or even (especially) in your spiritual life.

Progress is called a "progress" for a reason. It doesn't happen overnight, it is going through 1%, then 10%, then 15% and so on.

And in each small growth, see God's grace. Celebrate small progress by giving Him glory in little things. This is not to boast that you can, this is to exalt God in every step of your journey. To make sure that you know it's all because of His grace and without it, you can't.

This is a lifelong process. Continue to move forward with God and towards His plans for you, no matter what that is. 🌿

Thank you for being the God of the moment. The God who sits with us and listens to the cries of our hearts. The God who cares. The God who loves us unconditionally and is patient with us, not wanting us to perish but instead is merciful, giving us countless opportunities to repent and come back home.

Forgive us Lord for getting ahead of You, for depending unto ourselves and not on You alone. Establish our steps once more dear Lord and let your will be done in our lives.

All these we ask, in the name of Jesus Christ.

Today is the 57th anniversary of the adoption of our Canadian flag.

Although we are a diverse country of many regions, languages, and peoples, the Maple Leaf represents all of us.

It will always be a symbol of unity and the values of freedom, tolerance, and resilience that Canadians hold in common.
