The OPP organization and family has been faced with a devastating loss yesterday. Provincial Constable Grzegorz Pierzchala has lost his life in the line of duty after a senseless act of violence in Haldimand County.

It is crucial we support one another in times like these. We send our deepest condolences to the friends, family and members of the OPP organization.

We are looking for a Full-time and Part-time Loss Prevention Investigators,

Responsibilities:

• Conducting CCTV surveillance to detect and apprehend shoplifters
• Minimize the financial loss of retail items related to theft
• Write apprehension and prevention reports
• Follow policies and procedures

Minimum Requirements:

• Valid Ontario Security Guard License
• High school Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to work on weekends
• Ability to communicate with first responders, staff and management
• Physically fit to walk for extended periods of time
• High degree of honest & integrity
• Reliable vehicle is an asset

Compensation:

• Entry level position: $16.00 -$20.00 per hour based on experience and education
• Paid training

Part-time hours: 20-30 per week
Full-time hours: 32-40 per week

COVID-19 considerations:

• All provincial protocols to be followed in respect to Covid-19

Experience:

Undercover LP: 1 to 2 years (required)
