Kerry Grogan - Photographer Portrait photographic artist servicing Toronto and surrounding area as well Muskoka, Ontario. All She lives with her spouse and two beautiful boys in Toronto.

Kerry is an artist and photographer inspired by all expressions of childhood, human relationships and the natural world. Evident in Kerry's portraiture is the intentional depiction of her subjects' authentic selves through play, emotional connection, or environmental placement. When she is not chasing light with her Nikon, she is often practicing yoga, skipping through Lego bricks or planning her

Twelve. I love this age. I have a 12yo myself, so that could be a tiny reason why. There’s something about this threshold between childhood and young adult-ness. The only place where deep conversations about world issues can dissolve into a puddle of silliness over a turn of phrase or a joke they didn’t "get" only a year ago. It is an age that balances the seriousness of finding out one has a place in the world and having to figure out where one fits within it with an absence of the self-consciousness that plagues most adults. It is still being excited about Hallowe’en, but knowing that you might not be so into it next year. Thank goodness I have another twelve-year old in a couple of years because I’m not ready to give up this stage quite yet.
