IRCC now will hold a decision on your work permit extension submitted from Inside Canada for 90 days, a 30 days increase, if:

- your Canadian employer submitted a complete LMIA application
- you are applying to extend your work permit based on the submitted LMIA
- you have 2 weeks or less left on the validity of your current work permit

Another draw in the express entry, and I am sure many PGWP holders are left frustrated.

French language proficiency category draw in the express entry sent 5000 ITAs at the CRS score 382.

Congratulations to all candidates who got their invitations to apply for permanent residence in Canada.

This is a shocking discrepancy with yesterday’s draw for Canadian experience class with only 1000 ITAs and CRS score at whopping 523.

Hoping for CRS score to go down for express entry Canadian experience class? A shocking express entry draw today signals that hope is not enough!

Today’s express entry draw sent only 1000 invitations to apply for permanent residence in Canada to candidates in the pool with at least 1 year of Canadian work experience.

But the size of the express entry draw is not the biggest shock. It’s the CRS score.

It is not going down. Instead it just went up 7 points since the last draw from 516 to 523.

Congratulations to all candidates who got their ITAs.

You have 60 days to submit a complete application to the IRCC supporting with documents all the points you claimed in your express entry profile.

That was the story of our Client.

His PGWP was expiring, and he was running out of options.

Express Entry CRS score was way too high and he didn’t believe he could ever get ITA and permanent residency.

His partner wanted to sponsor him under common law partner in Canada class but they had to wait to complete 1 year of living together.

We suggested that while we wait our Client take another language test, and he did. His score improved significantly!
