There’s a new pathway for caregivers!
Called Home Care Worker Immigration Pilots, these new programs will officially open on March 31, 2025, replacing the Home Child Care Provider Pilot and Home Support Worker Pilot Programs.

The huge difference of these pilots is that it offers Permanent Residence upon arrival.

To be eligible, you’ll need:
1. Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) Level 4 in English
2. Canadian high school diploma (or its equivalent)
3. Relevant and recent work experience
4. A full-time job offer from a Canadian employer

Good news to our fellow Filipinos!

Last October 19, 2023, the government of Canada launched CAN Work Philippines—a pilot program which “will streamline work permit processing for eligible Canadian employers and allow employers to schedule group appointments for medical examinations and biometrics for potential employees, so that skilled workers in the Philippines can come to Canada.”

BREAKING NEWS!

Effective today, travellers from the additional 13 countries will be exempt from applying for a visa to visit Canada.

Eligible travellers who have held a visitor visa to Canada in the last 10 years or those who have a non-immigrant US visa can now apply for an electronic travel authorization (eTA) instead of a visa to stay in Canada for up to 6 months either for business or leisure.
