🚨 Struggling with the new IRCC Tracker? Read this! 🇨🇦

If your application isn’t showing up or the status doesn’t match your GCKey, you aren’t alone. I’ve answered the top FAQs about the new IRCC application tracker below! 👇

1️⃣ Application Not Found?
Most likely, your application type isn’t supported yet. (e.g., H&C, Refugee, PNP Non-Express Entry). If it is supported, double-check your name spelling and details—it must match your application exactly!

2️⃣ COPR Number visible but GCKey is in progree?
This usually means you’ve been approved! 🎉 You just need to wait for the landing process (P1/P2 or RFV email).

3️⃣ “Final Decision” on GCKey but Tracker says “In Progress”?
Don’t panic. The two portals aren’t perfectly synced yet. Wait a few days for the tracker to update.

4️⃣ Temporary Permits?
I haven’t been able to open any temporary permit applications yet. Let me know if you had better luck!

🚨 NEW Express Entry Points Alert! Up to 150 CRS points for High-Wage Jobs! 🇨🇦

This is the first of the many changes to come for Express Entry! 🍁 If you have Canadian work experience or a qualifying job offer in a high-wage occupation, you could be eligible for massive additional CRS points under the new Labour Market Integration factor.

Here is the breakdown:
💰 High-Wage Categories: IRCC has a specific list of NOCs divided into 3 tiers.
🎯 The Points: You could get an extra 70, 40, or 20 points depending on your NOC.
📈 Experience: Max out at 150 points for Canadian work experience.
💼 Job Offer: Earn up to 100 points for a high-wage job offer—No LMIA required!

⚠️ Important: You can’t stack these points (it’s either/or). If you have a high-wage job offer, you must update your profile before November 3rd to get the points!

Draws are paused for recalculations, so expect the next draw in mid-November. 🗓️

🚨Express Entry draw alert!🚨

Yesterday I predicted a massive French draw, and IRCC just delivered! We saw 5,000 ITAs issued with a CRS cut-off of 435. That is a jump of over 50 points!

Here is why this happened:
1️⃣ The last French draw was in August (a 2-month gap).
2️⃣ Competition is skyrocketing as more people adopt French as their immigration strategy. 📈

BUT WAIT—The biggest news is dropping TODAY. 📢 IRCC is expected to announce major changes to Express Entry. This could be the biggest reform since the program started! They just released their consultation results last night, and the changes are coming.

I’ll be posting updates as soon as the official announcement drops, so STAY TUNED. 🔔

Getting an OINP Notice of Intent to Refuse (NOIR) doesn’t always mean you’ll be refused. 🛑

If your eligibility is correctly reflected, your application is properly prepared, and every point you claimed is supported by documentation, you can respond point-by-point — and still receive your Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) nomination.

My client received a Notice of Intent to Refuse in May. By August, we received her OINP nomination. Yes, the wait was nerve-wracking, but I knew the application inside-out. We answered every concern, pointed to specific pages in the original submission, and cited the regulations.

But I’ve also had consults where the intent to refuse was based on eligibility issues that should have been flagged before applying. That’s why checking your eligibility first is so important. Once you get an ITA, make sure you have documentation to support every single point you claimed.

OINP UPDATE: 10 Points for $80k+ Earners! 💸

Ontario is updating the game! 🍁 OINP has added a new bracket for earnings history.

👉 Earn $80k+? You can now get 10 points instead of 8.
👉 Check Line 15000 on your CRA Notice of Assessment.
👉 Existing profiles update automatically (no action needed).

This is a huge step forward. Hopefully, draws will resume soon! 🤞

🚫 STOP overthinking your Canadian Immigration plan! If you have a priority occupation in Ontario, linking Express Entry and OINP is usually the fastest route—but I keep hearing the same 4 pushbacks. 🇨🇦

Let’s clear up the confusion on CRS scores, language tests, foreign work experience, and the T13 work permit. 👇

✅ You DON’T need a high CRS score to start.
✅ You only need Canadian work experience for eligibility (foreign work goes to personal history).
✅ You can edit your profile later for CEC competitiveness.
✅ Employer-driven PNP naturally leads to the T13 process.

🚨 POV: You paid a representative, but they blamed YOU for their mistake.

I am absolutely livid for this client. 🤬 She received an ITA earlier this year with a CRS score in the low 500s. Everything looked great... until her application was returned/cancelled by IRCC for a “simple” mistake: the wrong ECA for her dependent spouse.

The worst part? When she confronted her representative, they said: “Well, that was the ECA you gave me.”
EXCUSE ME? As a licensed representative, it is YOUR job to verify documents, not just take them at face value!

This is why I review every single document during my onboarding process. I cannot guarantee approval (no one can), but I CAN guarantee your application won’t be returned due to incompleteness or silly errors. 💯
