My Story
“If someone offers you an opportunity and you don’t know how to do it. Just say YES and learn how to do it along the way “
That’s one of the best lines I’ve ever heard. I can say that my journey in life has been aligned with a lot of different opportunities that I always wanted to pursue.
I met my husband when I was 19 years old, at a very young age I was always told that having a husband who can provide is something that will make my life easier. I grew up very poor, deprived of all the comfort in life, I always dreamed of a better life and I am forever grateful to my late husband for bringing me and my children to Canada.
Through the years since we moved here, I’m always working on myself, trying to seek opportunities to make a better life for myself and my family. My husband has been a great provider, together we raised our 4 boys, it has not been an easy journey as my husband was diagnosed with a kidney disease that led him to be bed ridden for a few years, I have to work full time as a cleaner in the hospital and have take care of my sick husband and also look after my children. Through it all I never gave up, I always push myself to be better and the strength of my faith kept me from getting demotivated.
Two years ago, my husband passed away. After years of suffering he’s finally resting. I’m relieved and at the same time very sad that his life was over and he had to spent his remaining years in such a terrible condition. I have to say that the past 2 years has been a life changing experience for me. I’m grateful that my husband’s passing left us with some comfort in terms of finances. I was able to finally get a better car, and invest in some business that I know will continue to grow.
I’m now living in the moment. Grateful for all the blessings and opportunities that came my way and I chose to surround myself with amazing people who pushed me to be a better version of myself.
I can humbly say that my life has changed and I’m excited for the future!!
This Father’s Day weekend I would like to honour my late husband for all the many sacrifices and blessings he has brought to our children and his family.
Thank you all for reading my story! I’m looking forward to share my journey with you. The best is yet to come for all of us!!
