One job.
One paycheque.
One source of income.
Have we ever stopped to ask ourselves if that's enough?
I remember the years when life revolved around work, family responsibilities, and making sure everything was taken care of.
There was always something to do, someone to care for, or a plan that depended on the next working day.
And like many women, I learned to be responsible, work hard, and appreciate what I had.
But somewhere along the way, I began asking myself a different question.
What happens when the one thing we depend on changes?
A company restructures. A position disappears. Life takes an unexpected turn.
Sometimes, circumstances change without asking whether we're ready.
That's one reason I decided to explore a different path while I was still working as a programmer analyst. I wasn't looking to walk away from the life I had. I wanted to give myself another direction to learn, grow, and develop.
I began exploring a digital business, learning new skills and discovering attraction marketing.
Was I an expert from the beginning? No.
Did I have everything figured out? Absolutely not.
But I was willing to learn.
And I realized something important: we can appreciate what we have today while preparing for what might come tomorrow.
Having a Plan B isn't about living in fear. It's about giving ourselves choices.
Especially as women, we've spent years taking care of families, meeting responsibilities, and putting other people's needs first.
Perhaps it's time to consider what we can do for ourselves, too.
Not because something bad will happen, but because we still have ideas, dreams, and abilities worth exploring.
Let me ask you something:
If the one source of income we depend on changed tomorrow, would we feel prepared to explore another path?
I'd love to hear your thoughts. And if learning about a digital business is something you've been considering, let's start a conversation.
