The next will be on January 30th, when the Brampton Folk Club presents Celtic Fiddle and Song with Maggie’s Wake. Winner of this year’s Canadian Folk Music Award for Emerging Artist, Maggie's Wake is a refreshing and exciting band from Southwestern Ontario, Canada. Formed out of the ashes of the popular Celtic group Rant Maggie Rant, their music is a blend of traditional folk and contemporary styles, including Celtic, jazz, Americana and classic country. The opening act is Keith Price.

Advance tickets are just $22 and can be purchased from:
- the Brampton On Stage Box Office (www.Tickets.Brampton.ca) or in person at The Rose Theatre, Tuesday to Saturday Noon-5:00 PM.
- St. Paul's United Church (30 Main St. South) in person Monday and Friday mornings, or all day Wednesdays.

The concert will be held in Sanderson Hall, on the upper level of St. Paul’s United Church, 30 Main St. South, Brampton. It runs from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., with doors opening at 7 p.m.

The next Friday Folk Night will be on December 5th where we present " A Seasonal Singalong" featuring members of the Brampton Folk Club. Come out for an old-fashioned singalong! Some of your favourite Brampton Folk Club artists will lead you through a selection of the season’s most well-loved holiday classics, Christmas hymns and other gems. We’ll provide the words, so come and sing your hearts out at this special seasonal concert!

Advance tickets are just $22 and can be purchased:
- from the City Box Office or in person at the Rose Theatre after noon on weekdays.
- from St. Paul’s United Church (30 Main St. South) in person Monday mornings, Friday mornings, or all day Wednesdays.

Congrats The Performance Group Basketball Association on the U11 TPG Basketball Challenge success so far!
Thanks for supporting with your fundraiser this season! Wishing the U11 team and everyone at TPG all the best.

About the campaign:
The U11 TPG team works tirelessly on the court to develop skills in hopes to be the best team in Canada. In addition to working on the court, TPG strives to help disadvantaged individuals within the community. The team is participating in a fundraiser where every member will try to raise as many funds as they can for Brampton Meals on Wheels.

Brampton Meals On Wheels services are delivered to:
- Seniors aging at home who wish to live independently
- Individuals who are unable to cook for themselves due to chronic illness
- Individuals who are recovering from illness or surgery
- Individuals living with a physical or mental disability or undergoing medical treatment
- Seniors who don’t have the ability to travel to a grocery store to purchase food or have limited cooking skills
- Canadian Veterans
