When it rains, it pours! We've had some busy days these past few months.

Vertical Axis is wrapping one large project in the coming weeks, to then launch into another... With a few smaller customer items on hold, leads moving forward, and some new potential partnerships, I've got my hands full!

There are a lot of threads to hold and this is the exciting part. Time to start applying more of my operational efficiency to my business.

It's GO time!

Vertical Axis did some significant upgrades for a client in late 2020 and we got together this week to run year-end reporting and procedures. I know it sounds silly but what a treat!! The fruits of the labour of putting the systems in place last year & the client running the procedures throughout the year meant that year-end was a breeze.

Although I did some prep & follow up work, top to tail, we were able to run through all closing procedures, year end reconciliations, and production of statements, balances, etc. in a marathon 4-hour meeting! Getting your business organized and running smoothly is work… AND it pays off.

Exciting news! I’ve taken on a significant project with an existing customer who’s business is growing fast!

We started our work using existing systems, added Wave accounting, cleaned up data, & built some integrations. With the growth this client has experienced, it’s time to upgrade. Work starts today on a CRM setup that we can integrate as needed. The goal is to allow easy, on demand access to personalized reporting for the growing team & to set the client up for continued success as the business grows.
