Are you in the Express Entry Pool waiting for a CEC draw?
The anticipation is real — but the question is: Will you be ready when the Invitation to Apply (ITA) lands in your inbox?
Let me share two real-life cases from February:
Case 1: A client with 530 CRS points had to decline their ITA. Not because they were ineligible, but because their foreign work experience documents weren’t ready.
We advised them not to risk rejection with an incomplete file — better to wait and apply strong.
Case 2: Another client with 420 points didn’t have time to wait. Their age could soon reduce their CRS score.
In the previous year, the Transport Occupations sector had only one draw, with just 975 ITAs issued.
We had to move quickly, knowing that the opportunity might not come again soon.
With limited time and documents, we presented every piece of available evidence — emails to the employer, partial pay stubs, salary deposits, and even a tracking number for documents being mailed.
Moral of the story?
Be proactive. Be prepared.
Start collecting these essential documents now, before the ITA arrives:
Employment Verification Letter (including job title, duties, salary, start/end dates, signed by an authorized person)
Pay Stubs (ideally, all of them)
Bank Statements (showing salary deposits)
Additional Helpful Documents like offer letters, promotion letters, relieving letters — optional but beneficial in supporting your claims
Additional Supporting Documents
Include anything else that adds credibility — like previous job titles, job descriptions, or reference letters.
These help strengthen your case and tell a complete story.
Once you get the ITA, the 60-day countdown begins.
Don’t let last-minute stress derail your Canadian PR dream.
Immigration isn’t just paperwork — it’s how well you present your case.
Even if you don’t have every document, genuine effort and proper explanation can still build a strong application.
Start today. Your future self will thank you.
