💫 Being grateful is essentially one of the easiest things to make you happy.

I recently began practising gratitude every morning, and while I don’t write it down, I have found that it has helped drastically pick up my mood and awaken my mind to a whole new perspective. (definitely needed when I’m groggy with sleep during winter!)

I am grateful for this human and to all the joy and laughter he brings in my life. He is exactly who I wanted and need. And while we may be opposites in most things, I am overwhelmed with happiness when I think about how grateful I am to have him.

So while there are moments that you can take for granted, make sure to appreciate and be grateful for the person who sticks by you even at your absolute worst.

💫 Your mind is what you mould it to be; so what form are you creating?

My first is my ‘mind’. With working and creating content that inspires me, I have come to realise how important a healthy mindset is. I struggle with my mental health and while most days I am fired up and ready to go; it can get dark pretty fast.

It may sound crazy, but sometimes you just know you aren’t feeling top-notch when you keep forgetting things or that you stare at the screen all day but never really accomplish anything or that you get sad quicker than it takes you to feel happy. There are so many more signs, but you just have to pay attention to them.

Your mind is your powerhouse, and how you feed it and nurture it determines how it works and grows. So be kind. Be patient. And keep working on ‘thinking better’ to ‘be better’.

💫 Without a purpose there is no meaning; so what are you doing to find yours?

I won’t give excuses but there has been a reason why I have been absent from social media and creating content. I have been struggling to find a purpose and a reason as to why I am doing what I am doing, and it has left me lost, confused and paralysed with the idea of everyone judging me.

There are people out there who struggle daily and still manage to show up consistently and work on being the best version of themselves. Not everyone has their sh*t together despite what you may think, and not everyone has the same beliefs as you.

What you think shouldn’t slow you down because not everyone is judging you and not everyone thinks the same way as you do. However, I know I will be closer to my purpose if I do what I love with an intention that comes straight from the heart. Maybe you can try doing the same and see what happens?
