تحديت هام حول برنامج كفالة اللاجئين في كندا (PSR)
أعلنت وزارة الهجرة الكندية عن تمديد الإيقاف المؤقت لاستقبال طلبات مجموعة من خمسة أشخاص(الكفالات الخماسية) والكفالات المجتمعية حتى 31 ديسمبر 2026.
هذا القرار جاء بسبب الازدحام الكبير في الطلبات وطول فترات الانتظار.
مع ذلك، ستواصل الوزارة معالجة الطلبات المقدَّمة سابقًا، وستستمر كندا في استقبال اللاجئين ضمن أهداف خطة الهجرة 2026–2028.

Temporary Pause Extended on Intake of Refugee Sponsorship Applications From Groups of Five and Community Sponsors
Ottawa, November 21, 2025—Canada’s Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) Program allows Canadians, permanent residents and community organizations to provide refugees with a safe, permanent home and the opportunity to rebuild their lives.
High demand for the PSR Program has resulted in a large volume of applications and lengthy wait times. On November 29, 2024, IRCC temporarily paused intake of new applications for two streams under the program—the group of five and community sponsor streams—in an effort to address this backlog.
IRCC is now extending the pause on new applications from groups of five and community sponsors until December 31, 2026.
Applications already submitted will continue to be processed, and Canada will continue to welcome refugees through the PSR Program during this temporary pause, in line with the admissions targets set out in the 2026–2028 Immigration Levels Plan.
We recognize that this pause affects sponsors and partners. The department will continue to support the refugee sponsorship community and work closely with partners on ongoing improvements to the PSR Program.

أوقفت دائرة الهجرة واللاجئين والمواطنة الكندية (IRCC) مؤقتًا قبول الطلبات الجديدة للكفالات الخماسية والمجتمعية تحت برنامج الكفالات الخاصة للاجئين اعتبارًا من 29 نوفمبر 2024.

بينما سيظل هذا الإجراء ساريًا حتى 31 ديسمبر 2025، ستواصل دائرة الهجرة واللاجئين والمواطنة الكندية معالجة طلبات الكفالات الخاصة للاجئين التي تم استلامها قبل 29 نوفمبر 2024 وإعادة توطين اللاجئين الذين تكفلهم كندا.
Important update.

Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has temporarily stopped accepting new applications from Groups of Five and Community Sponsors under the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) program as of November 29, 2024.

While this measure will remain in effect until December 31, 2025, IRCC will continue to process PSR applications already received prior to November 29, 2024 and to resettle sponsored refugees to Canada. For more information on the temporary pause, please visit the IRCC website.
