That moment when your kid is suddenly the one heading to work. ⛷️

Found this photo today. My son. Early morning. Gear in hand. Walking down to his first shift as an assistant ski instructor.

He didn't know I was watching.

And in that quiet moment it hit me — he was never mine to build. He was entrusted to me. There's a difference.

God didn't hand me a project. He handed me a privilege. And He's been slowly coaching me on what it means to steward that well.

Less control. More presence.

Less performing. More praying.

I haven't always got that right. Still learning.

But God is faithful — to my son, and to me as his father. He's not done with either of us. 🙏❤️
