HAPPY OPENING NIGHT TO JATA’S NELL HAYUTIN!

Tonight, JATA’s NELL HAYUTIN takes the stage as ALISON in The Kitchen Sink Collective’s production of John Osborne’s landmark drama LOOK BACK IN ANGER!

Set largely inside a small Midlands flat, this classic of British “kitchen sink” theatre follows the increasingly turbulent marriage of Jimmy Porter and his wife Alison, where love, resentment, class and disillusionment collide.

Nell stars as Alison, a quietly resilient woman from a privileged background caught between the world she came from and the volatile marriage she chose.

First performed in 1956, the play’s themes of class, frustration and disillusionment remain strikingly relevant nearly 70 years later - something Nell recently spoke about with BurlingtonToday:

“Lots of people are struggling and it feels like even after all these years, it’s still relatable.”

We LOVE seeing our clients sink their teeth into rich, complex roles like this one!

Congratulations ! Wishing you and the entire Kitchen Sink Collective company a fabulous OPENING NIGHT and an incredible run ahead!

West Plains United Church Theatre, Burlington
September 24 – October 4
10 performances | Tickets $30

A WOMAN’S LOVE LIST… GO SEE IT!!!

What a JOY to spend an afternoon at in Port Dover watching JATA’s NICOLE WILSON shine in Norm Foster’s hilarious A Woman’s Love List!

This sexy, playful farce asks a very dangerous question: What if you could create the perfect man?

Nicole stars as Carly, whose best friend Megan, played by Stephanie Pitsiladis, convinces her to make a list of all the qualities of the perfect man. And when that “perfect” man suddenly appears… let the sexy, ridiculous fun begin!

Nicole, it’s such a thrill to watch you PLAY in this salacious sandbox - and it seems the dirtier you get in the sand, the better!! I’m so proud of you. Enjoy every delicious, ridiculous and sexy moment of the rest of the run! 💜

And there’s still plenty of time to catch her!

📍 Port Dover — through September 12
📍 Port Colborne — September 16–27

Congratulations and the entire company on such a FUN show!

DOUBLE JATA BOOKING ALERT!!

We LOVE when Team JATA gets to work together!

Huge congratulations to JATA’S AUSTIN STRUGNELL who has booked a Recurring Role in Season 5 of a hit Amazon Prime Video action series, and JATA’S AMANDA IVES who booked the role of his WIFE!

And yesterday, our two JATA clients actually got to shoot their scene together!

In Austin’s words:

“As a longtime fan of the books, it was a surreal experience for me to be on that set, seeing this story brought to life with such attention to detail. It was exactly as I had envisioned it, and I can’t wait to see how it looks once the show is on the air.

I was also really impressed by Amanda’s ability to access her emotions with such apparent ease for such a devastating scene and I’m grateful to have had her as my scene partner.

Onwards and upwards!”

And from his “TV wife” Amanda:

“It was such a fantastic experience to be back on set, on such a professional and popular production. Everyone was so friendly and hard working, it just felt great to be there.

I’m really proud of myself for digging into such a tragic and emotionally charged scene and doing the work to be emotionally affected for each take. It’s nice to see that growth in myself. And working with Austin was so great, he was such a supportive scene partner and ‘TV husband’! We had a blast and I hope we can work together again!”

We couldn’t love these mutual shout outs more! Supporting one another, doing the work and celebrating each other’s artistry - THAT’S Team JATA!

Congrats and !!!

We can’t reveal the series just yet, but we’ll be VERY excited to share more when we can.

GO TEAM JATA!!!

What if you could create the PERFECT man?

Best friends Megan and Carly make a list of everything their ideal man should be… and much to their surprise, he actually appears! Enter Blaze Wilson, their seemingly perfect creation. But as the women begin tweaking their list, Blaze changes right along with it — and perfection quickly proves to be a VERY moving target.

Full of rapid fire dialogue, romantic chaos and plenty of twists, A Woman’s Love List takes a hilarious look at modern relationships and asks whether love can ever really be reduced to a checklist.

Nicole stars alongside Stephanie Pitsiladis and Cole Munden, under the direction of Lisa Horner.

Congratulations ! Wishing you, your castmates and everyone at a fabulous Opening Night and an incredible run ahead!
