This sexy, playful farce asks a very dangerous question: What if you could create the perfect man?

Nicole stars as Carly, whose best friend Megan, played by Stephanie Pitsiladis, convinces her to make a list of all the qualities of the perfect man. And when that “perfect” man suddenly appears… let the sexy, ridiculous fun begin!

Nicole, it’s such a thrill to watch you PLAY in this salacious sandbox - and it seems the dirtier you get in the sand, the better!! I’m so proud of you. Enjoy every delicious, ridiculous and sexy moment of the rest of the run! 💜

DOUBLE JATA BOOKING ALERT!!

We LOVE when Team JATA gets to work together!

Huge congratulations to JATA’S AUSTIN STRUGNELL who has booked a Recurring Role in Season 5 of a hit Amazon Prime Video action series, and JATA’S AMANDA IVES who booked the role of his WIFE!

And yesterday, our two JATA clients actually got to shoot their scene together!

In Austin’s words:

“As a longtime fan of the books, it was a surreal experience for me to be on that set, seeing this story brought to life with such attention to detail. It was exactly as I had envisioned it, and I can’t wait to see how it looks once the show is on the air.

I was also really impressed by Amanda’s ability to access her emotions with such apparent ease for such a devastating scene and I’m grateful to have had her as my scene partner.

Onwards and upwards!”

And from his “TV wife” Amanda:

“It was such a fantastic experience to be back on set, on such a professional and popular production. Everyone was so friendly and hard working, it just felt great to be there.

I’m really proud of myself for digging into such a tragic and emotionally charged scene and doing the work to be emotionally affected for each take. It’s nice to see that growth in myself. And working with Austin was so great, he was such a supportive scene partner and ‘TV husband’! We had a blast and I hope we can work together again!”

HAPPY OPENING NIGHT to JATA’s NICOLE WILSON!!!

Tonight, Nicole officially opens as CARLY in Norm Foster’s hilarious comedy A WOMAN’S LOVE LIST at Lighthouse Festival Theatre!

What if you could create the PERFECT man?

Best friends Megan and Carly make a list of everything their ideal man should be… and much to their surprise, he actually appears! Enter Blaze Wilson, their seemingly perfect creation. But as the women begin tweaking their list, Blaze changes right along with it — and perfection quickly proves to be a VERY moving target.

Full of rapid fire dialogue, romantic chaos and plenty of twists, A Woman’s Love List takes a hilarious look at modern relationships and asks whether love can ever really be reduced to a checklist.

Nicole stars alongside Stephanie Pitsiladis and Cole Munden, under the direction of Lisa Horner.

SEXY LAUNDRY… GO SEE IT!!!

JATA’s JACKLYN FRANCIS stars in this zany comedy as Alice opposite the wonderful Peter N. Bailey as Henry, and together they take the audience on one heck of a marital workout!

Jana Abrams had a blast catching S*xy Laundry at this weekend! It’s a hilarious, heartfelt and perhaps a little TOO relatable look at marriage, intimacy and what happens when a couple tries to rediscover the spark after 25 years together!

Written by Canadian playwright Michele Riml, S*xy Laundry follows Alice and Henry as they escape to a swanky hotel room armed with a copy of S*x for Dummies and some very good intentions. What unfolds is funny, honest, touching and surprisingly tender as the two confront not only what has changed in their marriage, but what they still mean to one another.

S*xy Laundry is only playing at the Drayton Festival Theatre through August 30, which means there’s less than ONE WEEK LEFT to catch it.

So… let’s get some more butts in those seats!!!

What an incredible Opening Night!!!

Jana Abrams was absolutely thrilled to be at the Capitol Theatre in Port Hope to celebrate JATA’s AARON MACPHERSON starring as legendary Canadian author Farley Mowat in the World Premiere of Farley Mowat’s And No Birds Sang.

Aaron gives a beautiful, nuanced and deeply moving performance as Mowat, taking us from the idealism and innocence of a young man heading off to war through the devastating experiences that would forever change him. I could not have been prouder watching him command the stage in such a demanding role.

Huge congratulations as well to director Rob Kempson, whose thoughtful and sensitive direction brings Dave Carley’s adaptation of Mowat’s acclaimed WWII memoir so powerfully to life, and to Aaron’s terrific fellow cast members Daniel Reale and Mayson Sonntag, whose wonderful performances help create such a compelling theatrical experience.

Congratulations to the entire company on a fantastic Opening Night and World Premiere!

DOUBLE BOOKING ALERT for one of JATA's youngest stars!!!

HUGE CONGRATS to JATA's NEIL DUFFERIN FRIESEN on recently wrapping TWO back-to-back productions before heading off to enjoy the rest of his summer camping adventures!

From wardrobe fittings and hair & makeup to working alongside incredible casts and crews, Neil embraced every moment of both filming experiences with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a huge smile 🙂

In Neil's own words:

"I had so much fun filming one project last week and another one this week! It was really cool getting to wear different costumes, have my hair and makeup done, and work with all the cast and crew. I learned a lot and had an awesome time on both sets. Thank you, Jana and Lina, for helping make these opportunities happen! I feel really lucky to be doing this!"

Huge congratulations to JATA’s JODY GEDDES and GREGORY ATKINS, who are both filming this week in Montreal on the season finale of an exciting New CBS Television Series!

One of our favourite things is seeing multiple members of Team JATA booked on the same production. It's always exciting to watch our talented clients continue to book outstanding projects and proudly represent JATA on productions across the globe!
