Opening Night applause for JATA’s DARLENE SPENCER!!!

is currently starring in the internationally acclaimed, award-winning musical Come From Away at the Grand Theatre - and audiences LOVE it!

This global sensation had a celebrated Broadway run (2017–2022) and has become one of the most successful Canadian musicals of all time. It earned 7 Tony Award nominations, winning Best Direction of a Musical, and went on to win 4 Olivier Awards (including Best New Musical) along with numerous Drama Desk and Outer Critics Circle Awards.

Due to overwhelming demand, the show has already been extended through May 31, and tickets are selling out fast!

In Darlene’s words:
“What a wonderful experience I’ve had working on this beautiful Canadian musical which is so full of heart, hope and community. Tara has just wrapped production playing a Lead Role in a 2-MOVIE DEAL with !!

In Tara’s words:

‘B’atz’ portrayed Kyle, a reformed low-life drug dealer grateful for his new lease on life. Indebted to his social worker Ethan, he provides intel regarding his father’s murder.
