Remembering all those who have fought and continue to fight to protect the values we hold most closely: freedom, independence, choice, equality, and peace.

Excited to support the launch of the new Verity MasterMIND season - hoping everyone has fun, breakthroughs, and success. Can't wait to see what emerges. My learning from being a facilitator and participant: show up, listen, ask questions, bring ideas, and champion each other. It's an amazing and inspiring experience.

Back from The Bahamas and in the office today. Returning from my first out of country trip since - well you know! Forgotten how the first day back in the office really comes at you fast. So far so good. Beaches are a distant memory. 🏝

Happy Father’s Day! Thinking about all the amazing people who have cared for, and loved, young ones as dads or like dads. Protecting them, teaching them, carrying their load when they needed it, and enabling them to flourish in their way. This is me with my dad, I may not have needed to be carried but I suspect I insisted on the being carried in that gorgeous laundry basket. After a long day at the office my dad was happy to oblige. 😍

I'd been thinking and talking about supporting young women in a meaningful way for years. In 2019 I presented a development program designed to support young women early in their career to my Mastermind group and they encouraged me to pursue it. I built the idea based on what I would have wanted in the first 10 years of my career; and I decided to learn more by working with a small group of young women. My coaching practice had been focused on supporting executives and senior, seasoned leaders for over a decade; and I didn't want to assume my coaching method would work for young women.

9 amazing individuals agreed to work with me; they ranged from mid 20s to mid 30s; they were individual contributors, managers, and aspiring entrepreneurs. I am so grateful to each of them for taking this journey with me. I learned about the challenges they faced in the workplace today and was able to apply my coaching skills to support them, and it worked. Now, I want to take the next step and pilot the group coaching program with a small group of women, this time to iron out the technical aspects of group coaching. This is the stepping stone to a full program that I hope to run a few times a year.
