this year is about choosing ease sounds simple until you realize ease has to be chosen against something. against proving, overcommitting, impressing, overscheduling, and the weird pride some people still take in being overwhelmed.
Ease often requires boundaries before it ever feels soft. It asks us to stop treating exhaustion like evidence that we are doing enough.
