Avicanna is introducing QUIX™, our proprietary, scientific-based self-emulsifying cannabinoid-delivery technology developed to address fundamental challenges associated with cannabinoid delivery.

Cannabinoids are inherently difficult molecules. Poor water solubility, low and variable bioavailability and delayed onset can create challenges for the development of predictable oral formats.

QUIX™ is the evolution of cannabinoid delivery

The technology produces nano-sized cannabinoid droplets designed to enable rapid onset, enhanced absorption and consistent product performance, while also being optimized for long-term cannabinoid stability and improved sensory characteristics.

But the significance of QUIX™ extends beyond its technical performance.

We’re thrilled to share positive preliminary results from our real-world evidence study, now published in the Canadian Journal of Pain.
 
The study, led by Hance Clarke (University Health Network) and implemented through our platform, MyMedi.ca, observed improvements in pain-related outcomes, mental health measures, and quality of life among patients using physician-authorized medical cannabis.
 
This publication reinforces the growing role of real-world evidence in advancing evidence-based medical cannabis care while highlighting the importance of clinician involvement in monitoring efficacy, safety, and ongoing patient outcomes.
