If you wanna be part of the pop-culture moment right now (you saw this one coming), my first recommendation is the Shadow and Bone trilogy by . I would HIGHLY recommend reading it even if you’ve already watched the series on Netflix. I’ve downloaded King of Scars on my Kobo (a book set in the same universe) and I can’t wait to dive in.
If you’re looking for something much less fantastical and not YA, I’d recommend sinking into On Earth We’re Briefly Gorgeous by — simply one of the most buttery, silky and delicious collection of words I’ve ever consumed (a perfect Mother’s Day read).
I’d recommend Atomic Habits by for those searching for a bit of clarity and direction during this time at home.
For my friends who wish to escape to a dystopian future with a cinematic quality, don’t walk — run to read Gutter Child by ❤️
