It came to my attention that certain citizenship by investment (CBI) programs are being extensively promoted in Egypt as means of gaining access to the United States. While it is true that becoming a citizen of countries that are part of the US E-2 visa treaty allows investors to qualify for the US E-2 visa, these CBI options serve no purpose to Egyptians since Egypt is already part of that treaty. Check below for a list of all US E-2 treaty countries. Contact me with questions.
