Position Name: Sales Development Representative (SDR)
About Best Leads:
Our clients include bookkeeping firms, software companies, marketing agencies, and technology companies. We help our clients with three services:
booking more sales meetings and/or running the entire sales cycle from meeting booking, negotiating the contract, and closing the deal
recruiting employees
training their existing sales team in prospecting, meeting booking, and other business development techniques
You will be trained on the job, but it’s a bonus if you have existing experience in the following areas:
Prospecting leads
Email marketing and LinkedIn outreach
Email automation/marketing automation (software/tools can include: Sales
About the Role: Your job is to find new clients for our clients. For example, we work with a marketing agency that works with Fortune 500 brands like L'Oréal, Pfizer, and McCann. It will be our job to get them more sales meetings with other large brands.
Training includes:
How to create ideal client profiles (ICP)
How to use LinkedIn Premium to search for prospects/leads (or search for ICP’s) by using filters, keywords, boolean searches
Learn social selling and rapport building techniques for emails, LinkedIn messages, and cold calls
How to create Email sequences and best practices for how often to follow up
How to use CRM to both save leads and create follow-up tasks
Understand how to create one-pagers, marketing content and how to ask for social media reviews
What the ideal candidate looks like
Someone who loves being in the know or being the first to know new information.
A “hunter” - someone who is relentless and always excited to engage new people Also, someone who embraces the mindset that it’s better to beg forgiveness than ask for permission. Also, balanced with knowing how to do this in a friendly way and also knowing when it’s time to back down.
Someone who jumps in and is not afraid to make mistakes, knowing that they’ll have to take constructive feedback without taking it personally and then adjust accordingly.
Excellent English verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
A post-secondary education like a university degree or college diploma is a strong asset, but not a requirement.
