This little space and I created so many beautiful paddles together.

It was here that I created a paddle for Seth Godin. It was here that I created the Truth and Reconciliation paddles for HBC, and paddles for Louis Vuitton. These four walls became a place of creative expression, late-night ideas, dance parties, reflection, and growth.

It was also here that I began my journey studying Environmental Design during the pandemic.

As this chapter closes with the sale of my home, I feel incredibly grateful for the last 10 years living by the lake, for the home, the studio, the memories, the love, the healing, the laughter, the tears, the gatherings, and all the moments of becoming that happened within these walls.

I am officially becoming a woman of the world.

And what does that mean for Norquay?

Not much, really, except that we are pausing. Reflecting. Reassessing. Reimagining what the path forward looks like for this brand, and for me personally, as I step into a new way of living.

What remains certain is this:
Creating is my life force.
And being in nature is non-negotiable.

So today, I raise a symbolic glass in honour of the last decade and in honour of whatever beautiful unknown comes next.
