On July 8th, join our speaker, Jennifer Fitzgerald, Manager of Training Services at Learngistics for her presentation, “Training That Sticks – Helping Teams Learn, Lead & Thrive.”

Jenn has had what you might call a varied career. She began in municipal administration, had a brief but enlightening stint in elementary education, and is now in her favourite career, adult education.

As Manager of Training Services, Jenn works with organizations across North America, helping teams and leaders get better at communicating, leading, and building strong workplace cultures.

She’s passionate about creating those ‘lightbulb moments’ — when someone in a workshop suddenly gets it, and walks out energized, ready to make real change for their team and their organization.

Jenn says there’s nothing better than a successful training day… well, except maybe the day her rescue dog Molly finally learns to stop poking the cat.

With a passion for sharing knowledge, continual growth and an innate sense of curiosity, Jacob Manishevitz grew up wanting to be an educator. After graduating from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor’s degree in history and political science, Jacob was offered a role in corporate sales where he regularly interacted with C-suite executives across numerous companies. Being relatively young for the senior level role, Jacob quickly honed his communication skills and developed a knack for active listening that continues to serve him well.

While Jacob enjoyed B2B sales, his passion for educating and connecting directly with the end user, sparked his interest in B2C career opportunities. As fate would have it, a timely meeting with a C-Suite executive with deep banking experience suggested Jacob explore the mortgage industry.

After researching potential opportunities, Jacob was sold. Leveraging his experience in sales and customer service, Jacob quickly fell in love with the industry, meeting new people and learning about their goals for financial success. He went on to earn his mortgage broker’s qualification/licence, and now enjoys educating his clients about their mortgage options and helping them understand the various products and solutions available.
