We’re excited to see Iconthin Biotech’s latest astaxanthin research featured by Aquafeed!
For years, the high cost of microalgae-derived astaxanthin limited its use in salmonid feed. Today, advances in cultivation and production are helping make natural astaxanthin a more practical and affordable option.
Our latest peer-reviewed rainbow trout study showed strong pigmentation performance and encouraging retention results from Haematococcus pluvialis-derived astaxanthin.
A special thank-you to the Univeristy of Guelph and Mitacs for their valuable collaboration.
Thank you, Aquafeed.com, for sharing our research!
