From awards stages to international tours, anniversary celebrations and new music, it’s been an incredible month for the Starfish roster.
Massive congratulations to our Canadian Live Music Association award winners - Jude Coombe for Manager of the Year and Jim Cuddy for Philanthropic Live Event of the Year 👏

And the momentum kept rolling all month long:

🎙️ Skydiggers dropped a new podcast episode exploring Side A of their upcoming album West Montrose.

Was an honour to be in London for the Maple Leaf Ball after hours at the last night. Jim, Greg, Colin and Jimmy thrilled attendees at the event which is held biannually and raised funds for the Maple Leaf Trust which is dedicated to funding, supporting, and celebrating Canadians residing in the United Kingdom.

wrapped a successful tour through the UK and Netherlands with a final stop in Ibiza, while announced their new record, West Montrose, marking 40 years of making music together. Plus, announced an incredible record from Dallas and Richard Reed Parry as a special Record Store Day release, and Jim Cuddy took the stage at the Regent Theatre in Oshawa.

Jim Cuddy is the standard of excellence we aspire to and his desire to give back is inspiring. We launched Jim's Country Classics show in 2018 and together we’ve raised well over $50,000 in support of the Daily Bread Food Bank and its mission to address food insecurity in our community. This show isn't possible - or nearly as much fun - without the incredible artists who come out year after year and donate their time and talent to join us, sing a song and celebrate music, friendship and a genuine desire to help. Thank you to the Canadian Live Music Association for recognizing this effort.

To have Blue Rodeo's 40th Anniversary tour recognized with a nomination for Live Performance of the Year at this year's Canadian Live Music Association awards as part of Departure Festival + Conference means a great deal to all of us at Starfish Entertainment. This tour is a source of great pride for our team, and is something we will never forget.

For four decades, Blue Rodeo has helped shape the soundtrack of Canada. Their songs are woven into people’s lives and their shows bringing generations together. Night after night on this tour, we were reminded just how deep that connection runs, as more than 100,000 fans gathered with us for sold out shows from coast to coast to coast.

There’s a kind of magic that happens on a tour like this and it only exists because of the people behind it. At Starfish, we’re proud to steer the ship, but it’s our whole community that truly brings it all to life.
