Below you will find a brief description of the Self-Care Workshop that is the first in the series of workshops.

SELF-CARE

The Self-Care workshop helps your team to reflect on what brought them to this work, and why they choose to stay. They will spend time exploring their own personal vision, and will participate in exercises on how this vision can sustain them. As part of this important session, your staff will be guided to build a ”toolbox” to manage stress and build resiliency, supporting them as they act as a role model for their clients.

CREATING A CIRCLE OF CARE

This session helps to refocus your staff on the client’s strengths, and the resources they already have available. The Creating A Circle of Care workshop empowers staff to meet clients where they are. It provides these front-line workers with valuable tools to help name and then build on the existing resources and connections of the client.

This workshop helps your staff to recognize the diversity of their team, and of their clients. It supports the front-line workers in recognizing that each of us has an important story to tell. Participants will share information with each other that will build bridges and make their team stronger. The Celebrating Diversity session will help your team to really see the gifts that each individual brings to the table, and allows them to be an ally for
their clients.
