I asked CHAT GPT what were some of the benefits to drumming together in a group. I have to say it was right on!

1) Stress reduction: Drumming can help to reduce stress and tension, promoting relaxation and a sense of well-being.

2) Improved mood: Drumming has been found to release endorphins, which are chemicals in the brain that can improve mood and reduce pain.

3) Increased focus and concentration: Drumming requires focus and concentration, which can help to improve overall cognitive function.

4) Improved coordination and dexterity: Drumming requires the use of multiple limbs and muscle groups, which can help to improve overall coordination and dexterity.

5) Enhanced teamwork and communication: Drumming in a group requires teamwork and communication, which can help to improve overall team dynamics and collaboration.

6) Boosts creativity: Group drumming can be a powerful tool to boost creativity and innovation as it allows individuals to think out of the box and come up with unique ideas.

7) Increased sense of community: Drumming in a group can foster a sense of community and belonging, promoting a sense of unity and connection among the participants.

8) Improved self-esteem: Group drumming can help individuals to feel more confident and better about themselves, which can boost self-esteem.

And best of all anyone can do it. Who couldn't use more of all of that!

Looking back a year ago, I was thinking of packing it in... getting rid of my equipment and calling it a day. However, many people told me... "don't do it, Just hang in" they said, so I did.

So here we are on the cusp of 2023 and while things aren't back to "normal", things are moving in the right direction - a new normal but a good one and I'm really glad to be part of it.

I want to take this opportunity to say thank you to those of you have been so supportive, those of you on here who take the time to read what I post, those of you who make comments and generally make me feel like I'm doing something valuable for others. I really appreciate it. I hope you have a wonderful holiday!

It's been challenging to recreate my live interactive presentation over ZOOM but thanks to a lot of new tech, (and help from some really smart people) I have found a way. If you have a team that needs to reconnect, re-engage and more importantly, remember what it's like to have some fun together I have just the program. In many ways, its even more robust than what I could offer in-person and will do wonders for your teams mental health and well being. Don't wait, let's talk today. 416-767-3786

It was a beautiful summer day and this team wanted to do something special for their company offsite. It's funny, I hardly ever get to do this outside but they did it old school. A place in a park. I rolled my cart of drums where cars could not go. Hear what they have to say about the experience... http://bit.ly/2kKV5rn
