Due to the forecasted extreme weather conditions, tomorrow’s Fallen Firefighter Ceremony has been postponed out of an abundance of caution for the families of our fallen firefighters, attendees, and all involved.

This decision was not made lightly. It is important that this ceremony receives the full attention, care, and solemnity it deserves as we gather to honour and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our communities.

We recognize the importance of this event to the families, friends, and colleagues of our fallen firefighters, and appreciate everyone’s understanding and support.

** Postponed until further notice** Toronto Fire Services, in partnership with the Toronto Professional Fire Fighters’ Association - IAFF Local 3888, will host the annual Toronto Fallen Firefighters Memorial Service.

This solemn event honours the bravery and sacrifice of our colleagues who have given their lives in service to the City of Toronto. This year, 14 names will be added to the Toronto Fire Services Honour Roll, a powerful reminder of the courage, dedication, and selflessness that define our profession. With each name, we reflect on the service and sacrifice of those we have lost.

The ceremony will take place at TFS Station 334, located at 339 Queens Quay West (Harbourfront), beginning at 10:50 am.

Since 1848, a total of 353 firefighters have died in the line of duty. This annual ceremony serves as an enduring tribute to their legacy. We encourage all to attend and stand together in honour of our fallen colleagues. Your presence is a meaningful way to support their families and recognize the sacrifices made in the line of duty.
