To qualify you must meet these REQUIREMENTS
1. At least one year of continuous paid full-time work experience (or the equivalent in paid part- time work) in TEER Category 0, 1, 2 or 3 of the National Occupational Classification (NOC)
2. You must have a Canadian bachelor’s, master’s or PhD degree or its equivalent in another country.
3. You must be able to understand, read, write and speak either English or French at a Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) level 7 or higher.
4. You must have enough money to support yourself and your dependent family members when you settle in Canada.
5. You must intend to live in Ontario after you’re granted permanent residence.
6. If you are applying from within Canada, you must have legal status (visitor record, study permit, or work permit) at the time you apply and should maintain that status until the time of nomination.
If you are nominated, your next step is to apply to the federal government through IRCC. They make the final decision on who becomes a permanent resident.

📢 7,000 candidates invited on March 29, 2023 through Express Entry draw. The CRS score dropped significantly due to the whopping number of candidates invited to apply recently. The last 3 draws have all tied for the largest all-program draws, inviting 7,000 applicants each time, making it a total of 21,000 ITAs in March 2023. Today’s draw continues the unusual pattern of having consecutive all-program draws with such a large number of applicants.

🌎 The 2023-2025 Canadian immigration plan aims to increase the number of new immigrants to the country each year to fill critical labour market shortages. The plan will welcome 465,000 new immigrants in 2023, with a target of 485,000 in 2024, and 500,000 in 2025. Express Entry draws will play a critical role in achieving these targets and welcoming newcomers across the country.

👨‍💼👩‍💼 The plan also aims to increase regional programs, such as the Provincial Nominee Program, the Atlantic Immigration Program, and the Rural and Northern Immigration Pilot, to address targeted local labour market needs. In 2022, Express Entry held 23 draws and issued 46,538 ITAs for the year, including PNP draws and all-program draws. Stay tuned for updates on future draws and immigration news!
