Someone asked me to share the secrets of how Fully Booked Designers are finding clients and earning 6-figures in break-neck speed?

Sometimes I wish I knew some secrets... so that I could help them in a BIGGER WAY.

The truth is, there are no secrets. I wish it was that easy.

This is what I have seen and observed:

💁‍♀️ Focus on your clients (not other designers)!! Participate in local groups. Send friend requests to people in your network.

💁‍♀️ Show up professionally and consistently. Talk about your work and life. Share your story. Give tips and ideas and you’ll become the sought after person in your niche.

💁‍♀️ Practise talking about your signature service, your pricing and the outcome you will be delivering -- before walking into a design consult.

💁‍♀️ For long term projects, be prepared to share your entire process and over-communicate. Don't assume the "client should know" this. They don't. It's your job to inform them in advance so they are prepared.

💁‍♀️ Do your mindset work DAILY. You have to believe that what you want is possible. You HAVE TO believe that this will work, that it’s working. Write out your desires, your fears, and empowering beliefs because as you reach your next level, your mind is going to try and sabotage you. You have to rewire your brain into believing in your success.

💁‍♀️ Surround yourself with successful people. This has been HUGE. Seeing other business owners crushing it, making sales, raising their rates, and owning their power as business owners has helped me shift things SO MUCH. Look for evidence of success, instead of focusing on the ones that are not doing well. Misery loves company. I choose to follow the clues that successful folks leave behind.💥

💁‍♀️ Get rid of people, jobs, things that make you want to quit and play small. Ditch anything that makes you feel less than, that makes you doubt yourself, and that sucks your soul and the joy out of you. Draw a line in the sand and know that what’s on the other side will always be better because you decided it would be better.

💁‍♀️ Get support!! I have worked with several *amazing* coaches to help me reach the next level in my business. My revenue, my systems, my marketing, and my team are all better because I sought help from experts in those areas. Did I make an ROI every single time? Not right away. But I learned and I grew and no one can take that away from me.

There are no secrets or shortcuts.

Building a successful business is more like running a marathon -- instead of a sprint. Your job as a business owner is to show up every day for yourself and those that depend on you, and the rewards will be waiting for you.
