Happy Mother’s Day to the mothers who care for everyone else… while quietly carrying so much themselves. 🤍

To the daughters caring for aging parents.
To the mothers supporting children, spouses, and loved ones through illness, disability, or life transitions.
To the women balancing appointments, medications, meals, paperwork, emotions, and exhaustion — often without anyone asking how you are doing.

We see you.

Caregiving is one of the deepest forms of love, but it can also be overwhelming, lonely, and invisible at times.
This Mother’s Day, we want to remind you that your care matters. Your presence matters. And you deserve support too.

Take a moment today to breathe.
To rest without guilt.
To ask for help.
To honour not only the people you care for — but yourself as well.

At Parent Care Navigator, we believe caregivers should never have to walk these journeys alone.

With love, compassion, and gratitude to every caregiver mother today. 🌷

You already know something needs to change…

But you keep pushing through

Trying to manage
handle everything
figure it out on your own

Not because you don’t know

Because letting go is hard

Caregiving can make you feel like
you have to hold everything together

But the longer you carry it alone…
the heavier it becomes

You don’t need to do more

You need clarity
You need direction
You need support

Day 92: What Allah is Telling Me Today (Caregiver Reflection)

For a long time, I’ve been sharing caregiver reflections…
what it feels like to carry, to show up, to hold it all together.

But something shifted.

I realized…
these reflections were never just mine.

They were always guidance.

What Allah is showing me… through this journey.

So I’m continuing — but with deeper intention.

From today forward, I am moving these reflections this space

“What Allah Is Telling Me Today ?

Still a caregiver journey.
Still real.
Still honest.

But now… anchored.

If you’re on this journey too —
stay with me 🤍

Day 86 — The Sin That Didn’t Look Like a Sin

This morning, I sat with a verse that honestly… unsettled me.

Not because I didn’t understand it.
But because I did.

Satan.
Shayṭān.
Iblīs.

Whatever name you know him by…
across faiths, across traditions…

you know who I’m talking about.

He believed in God.
He spoke to Him.
He wasn’t ignorant.

And yet… he fell.

Not because he didn’t pray.
Not because he didn’t know.

But because of one sentence:

“I am better than him.”

And that’s what stayed with me.

Because arrogance doesn’t always show up loudly.

It doesn’t always look like pride.

Sometimes… it looks like:

“I’m doing more than everyone else.”
“I’m the only one who cares.”
“They don’t get it like I do.”
“I deserve better than this.”

And if I’m being honest…
as a caregiver… I’ve felt that.

Maybe you have too.

When you’re the one showing up.
When you’re the one sacrificing.
When you’re the one holding everything together…

It’s so easy for the heart to quietly shift from:

🙏”Ya Allah, accept this from me…”

to

⚠️ “Look at everything I’m doing…”

And that shift is dangerous.

Because the fall of Iblīs didn’t start with disbelief.

It started with comparison.

Today felt like a reset.

Not to stop doing good.
But to check how I’m carrying it.

Because God doesn’t just look at what we do.

He looks at the state of our hearts while we’re doing it.

And maybe that’s the real work.

To stay soft…
when life makes you hard.

To stay humble…
when you’re carrying more than others.

To stay sincere…
even when no one sees.

And through it all… His Names meet you again 🤍

💖 He loves you — even when you’re struggling
👀 He sees your effort — even when it’s messy
🌟 He keeps giving — even when you feel depleted
🔓 He can open your heart — in a single moment
💝He carries what you cannot

So today, I’m not asking:

“Am I doing enough?”

I’m asking:

“Is my heart where it needs to be?”

Because…

Humility raises you.
Ego quietly lowers you.

🌙 Day 70 Reflection

Carried by His Names

Yesterday was my birthday.

And instead of celebrating loudly…
I found myself sitting quietly with the Qur’an.

Moving slowly through the surahs from
Surah Al-Mulk to Surah Al-Mursalat.

And I asked myself something.

Why does this feel different this year?

The same verses.
The same Ramadan.

But something in my heart had shifted.

This year I wasn’t just reading the Qur’an.

I was looking for Allah inside it.

Looking for His names.
Looking for His signs.
Looking for what He might be showing me right now.

And I realized something beautiful.

The more you learn His names…

the more you start to see Him everywhere.

In the sky.
In the thunder after Fajr.
In the quiet strength that carries you through the day.

And suddenly you understand something you didn’t before.

You are not carrying life alone.

You are being carried through it.

By Ar-Rahman in His mercy.
By Al-Matīn in His strength.
By Al-Hafīẓ in His protection.

Maybe that is why this birthday felt different.

Because this year I didn’t just feel older.

I felt held.

Held by the One who has always been guiding every step.

Still learning.
Still growing.
Still returning to Him.

One reflection at a time.
