πDo you love your work?π
If YES, you are blessed.
Be grateful and celebrate.
If NO, then change your work.
But before you do, you MUST change these 3 things about YOU, or else, you may change your job but bring all your problems with you--and never be happy in your work wherever you go.
1. Change your Purpose.
Perhaps you work to put food on the table.
I respect that, but I encourage you to find another purpose such as, "to upgrade my skills" or "to build my network" or most of all, "to serve God where I am right now".
2. Change your Perspective.
You do not experience life, you experience your FOCUS.
If you are focusing on that rude boss or the conflicts in the office, you'll be emotionally dragged down the entire day.
But what do you LOVE about any part of your work?
Focus on that.
Make that bigger in the real estate of your mind.
And thank God everyday for these blessings.
As for those things that you don't like, see them as a way to grow in patience, perseverance, and yes, perspective.
3. Change your Pattern.
If you like your work, there's a part of it that you may abhor.
So what most people do is delay that one part that they hate to do--whether it's to write tedious reports, or talk to a difficult client.
Not a wise move.
Because it becomes a mental burden that we carry throughout the day.
Here's my suggestion:
Do it first thing.
Get it out of of the way.
As Brian Tracy says, "Eat the frog" first.
Do the yucky thing first.
The rest of your day will be much more enjoyable.
4. Think of having a side hustle or plan B beside your job, so it brings you mind comfort that you always can rely to.
Building a side hustle doesnβt happen over night, it can be done gradually and one day when you look back, youβll feel proud of yourself. (I can help you with this, if you like)
