Dan Varrette, Editor

Dan Varrette, Editor I provide a full line of editing services to help authors and publishers develop effective and polished writing.

I edit fiction (including science fiction, fantasy, mystery, and literary) for both traditional publishers and self-publishers alike. Writing and Publishing

Aspiring authors and established writers alike will benefit from my editorial services. I will bring the best out of your work, whether you intend to approach publishers or wish to take advantage of self-publishing options. Regardless of whic

h route you take, an editor can be an invaluable resource in helping get your writing published. Fiction Services

Editing novels, poetry, and other forms of creative writing requires an attention to detail, as both the technical and artistic aspects of every work should achieve a fine balance. Each writer has a unique voice; an editor should take careful consideration to ensure it is developed fully. Non-Fiction Services

Editorial services are available for business-oriented writing such as grants, proposals, reports, newsletters, and press releases, as well as many other forms of non-fiction writing. I am trained in business and marketing communications and experienced in producing publicity and promotional content for the publishing industry. Editors do more than just fix grammar, punctuation, and spelling—they understand the nature of the message. Editorial Services and More

I offer a wide range of services. I am willing to answer any questions you might have about writing, editing, publishing and self-publishing, or the process of working with an editor. I also offer quotes and consultations free of charge for projects of any size, so feel free to contact me.
