⚜️ Walking by, I stopped by Galerie on rue Amherst here in Montreal. Luckily, artist was in the house. We briefly chatted about the inspiration behind her current photography exhibit titled: as a tribute to her grand-grandparents. A painfully beautiful tale about love and death. Her grand-grandmother lost her beloved husband 5 months after marriage. Yet, the fruit of this love was Claudine's grandfather (ok, don't quote me on this, I got confused between her grand-grandparents and grandparents). Ahynow, the photography is beautiful, the colours, the composition, the square prints, the everything... Beautiful tribute to her family's ancestors. Worth to check it out. ⚜️ ⚜️
