It all started with the simple idea of turning a negative into a positive. Only four short years and two great careers ago, we found ourselves suddenly brainstorming about what it would be like to embrace our entrepreneurial spirits and launch a business we really believed in. We felt like the toner/printer consumable business at the time was really lacking in quality and customer service. So the wheels started turning. With over 20 years of total experience in sales, business development and digital marketing, we felt like we could combine our corporate know-how and our passion for making the customer number one into a small but profitable business while living up to our main goal of making Office Ink environmentally and socially responsible. But it quickly turned into something much bigger than selling a few cartridges. It’s more than simple office supplies, it’s a mind set
Office Ink didn’t begin by following the path of our predecessors, in fact, rather than following the traditional online model, we decided to apply common sense and research to figure out the best approach to making our customers happy. They didn’t trust the current business practice, so we thought that if we were going to get into the game, we were going to shake up how it’s played. We decided to combine a balance of both an online store and an offline sales staff, allowing our clients the freedom to choose their own purchasing options and allowing us to overcome the reputation of the industry and set a new bar standard in terms of sustainability and environmental impact. A big reason we are so focused on sustainability is not only to be an environmentally responsible business, but to be a leader and promote environmental sustainable practices to our clients and other companies. Rather than investing lots of money into traditional paid advertising, we’ve simply relied on word-of-mouth from people who appreciate our approach to business and want to tell their friends about it. Office Ink has evolved from a single service offering of quality toners to expanding our business to selling eco-friendly office supplies, yet the present is only the beginning.
