Much Respect for the great George Chuvalo - not only the most legendary Canadian boxing great, but a wonderful gentleman and a very charitable fellow. George had a great sense of humour and I knew him to be a very good, generous, charitable gentleman, who was also, obviously tough as nails - with his professional athletic records, and his status as a world boxing championship title-holder - many times over. I was fortunate to be able to have Mr. Chuvalo to a client event I held years ago; he was eminently cordial and had a great, wonderful sense of humour and wit in his spirit. I know he experienced some very tough things in his long lifetime of 89 years, but despite those harrowing travails, he carried on as a great warrior - in goodness, and helping others. These tournament Champion golfing gentlemen were recently stuck in a three-way tie with two other competing foursomes and, in the end, won the tournament in their closest to the pin 100-yard shoot-out tie-breaker - using the Graeme Kirkland-branded Titleist ProV1 golf ball.
