This Mental Health Week, we're pausing to reflect on something that matters deeply — how we show up for ourselves, not just for our work.

This week, the GLINC team traded our screens for clues. 🔍

We kicked off our spring team social with a lunch together before heading to Escape Manor to put our problem-solving skills to the test, and we made it out with 20 minutes to spare! 🎉

It was fun to collaborate in a totally different environment, think on our feet, and (most importantly) prove we work just as well under pressure as we do on the job. Shoutout to the whole team for an amazing afternoon!

The Earth doesn't ask for much. It just keeps giving — clean air, open skies, the kind of morning light that makes you stop for a second before the day takes over.

Earth Day is a good reminder to say thank you. And like any meaningful relationship, gratitude shows up best in action.

A few simple ways to show it today:

- Step outside — even for ten minutes. Notice something you usually walk past.

- Give something a second life — repair, reuse, or pass along instead of replacing.

- Slow down a purchase — ask whether you need it before you buy it.

- Choose the slower option — walk, bike, or take transit if you can.

- Support the people growing food, making things, and building businesses with the planet in mind.

None of these are revolutionary. But done with intention, they're how respect becomes a habit.

In the middle of deadlines, strategy sessions, and constant change, our pets remind us to pause. To step outside. To breathe. To play. To be present.

Their quiet companionship grounds us. Their enthusiasm lifts us. And somehow, even on the longest days, they have a way of keeping us going.

Sometimes the best thing you can do for a client is gently challenge the brief.

When CIPF came to us for an infographic explaining their $1 million investor protection coverage, we took a step back and asked: is an infographic really the best way to deliver this?

Our recommendation? A full webpage mockup instead — and here's why:

-Discoverability — a dedicated webpage is indexable and far easier for investors to find than a PDF attachment buried on a site

-Efficiency — a polished mockup streamlines the build process for their internal IT team, reducing back-and-forth

-Clarity — purpose-built visuals bring dense regulatory copy to life, making complex content genuinely accessible to everyday investors

CIPF trusted us to think beyond the ask, and the result speaks for itself. Their new webpage is now live — a clear, navigable resource that helps Canadian investors understand the protections behind their portfolios.
