Let’s talk about gifs! (Do you say Gif or jif?)
We know how cute they can look in our stories but sometimes we just use whatever ones are on the feature page and think nothing of it. BUTTT THERE ARE SO MANY CUTE ONES that you can use that will fit your brand aesthetic and make your stories really stand out!

1. Marina - super cute & girly she has the best day of the week gifs IMO and party related gifs too!

2. Mikyla - super neutral but still girly, some gifs aren’t in English but they’re still fun!

3. Simple- pretty self explanatory but this one has some cute script gifs & lots of fun options from hearts to plant leaves.

✨BONUS: as an added bonus I highly suggest checking out wildflowerbar in gifs! It’s sooo cute and has the best plant gifs🌿

Are you an eternal optimist or a realest?

Whichever one you are there have been a s**t ton of lemons dropping lately with this pandemic the world is currently facing & many of us are currently on lockdown about to go stir crazy in our homes.(Joe Exotica is starting to look slightly less bats**t crazy w every day that passes 😅)

Things have been changing rapidly and so many people have already been seriously impacted by this in one way or another.(my heart goes out to you💕)

Regardless of what that impact may be, it is SO important to remember that during tough times like these it is your MINDSET that determines how you’ll come out on the other side!

That’s why when life gives us🍋 🍋 its IMPERATIVE to:
▶️ Change our thinking to a POSITIVE mindset
▶️ Embrace the changes as they come
▶️ Make ALL the lemonade possible!

You can even make it pink lemonade if you want, the point is you HAVE to make the best of ANY situation, it’s the ONLY way to survive!🙏🏻

How are you feeling about the current situation we find ourselves in?

There is so much uncertainty right now in the world due to the current situation, and many cities in North America- including my own- have declared a state of emergency.

I’m not sure how I feel currently, it’s perplexing because generally I’m optimistic but right now I’m starting to worry... “do we have enough TP? Milk? Kitty litter, cat food, etc” “will people be buying up all the supplies again?”(Couldn’t find disinfectant wipes at the store today)😩😩

Lately I struggle between wanting to stay informed and knowing when to turn off the news because it can begin to consume you if you let it.

Have you been feeling the same lately?

One thing I am certain of is that focusing on my business has been keeping me sane through all this. I’m also grateful for connecting with all of you amazing people on here and the great relationships we’ve built!

In light of the current events I just want to take a moment to spread love and positive vibes to you all!!💕🙌🏻

Now let’s all remain calm and enjoy ‘ a nice cup of coffee ‘😅

Are you practicing social distancing?

Maybe you’re binging out on your fave TV shows & movies or maybe you’re FINALLY planning to give your biz the TLC it needs!

Either way, if you’re doing the right thing by safely keeping a distance from others at present like myself, chances are you have some EXTRAAA time on your hands for the next little while....

Thats why this is actually the PERFECT opportunity use that extra time to do 3 things that will not only ATTRACT your ideal clients but will also set you up for FUTURE SUCCESS!

1️⃣ Update & Edit your highlights with any recent story posts that are relevant
2️⃣ Unfollow accounts that haven’t posted in the last 15 days or have no posts at all aka ghost followers 👻
3️⃣ Pick ten accounts that resemble your ideal client; nurture them through engagement for the next 30 days to build value & establish trust

Regardless of how much spare time you actually have it doesn’t take long to make these 3 keys moves so that you can attract your ideal clients & take your IG game to the next level!

Have you found your purpose?

Some people have always known what their purpose is but some of us have gone through many many soul searching moments before figuring out what ours is...and we may still be figuring it out.

Truth is:
Knowing what your purpose is does not come easy, It’s not always as simple as picking what you think you’ll be the best at and just focusing on one career path.

At the end of the day some of us are square pegs that DON’T fit into round holes!!🙅🏼‍♀️

So my message to you is if it doesn’t fit don’t force it👏🏻 if you haven’t found what your purpose is yet don’t give up and be true to yourself!

Do you wish you had more TIME to engage with your followers consistently?

When I say consistently I mean:
- are you commenting on every post?
- are you commenting on their stories?
- are you sharing their posts, etc.?
- are you sending DM’s to build real relationships?

If you’re thinking “this sounds like a lot of work” then I’ve got a tip for you!

By setting up an engagement schedule alongside your content calendar(link in bio) you can save time & grow your following without having to put in a lot of work.

If you’re not sure exactly how to set one up you can follow these 3 EASY PEAZY steps:

1. Choose 5 ideal clients to super engage each month & turn on post notifications for these ideal clients so you can be one of the first to comment (if they have a large following)
2. Block off 10-15 minutes a day just for engaging
3. Designate one day a week to send a “thank you” DM to any new followers

If you want to grow your following and see more action on your posts then you have to get out there & engage babes!

We all want more likes on our posts, am I right?!⁠

You're definitely not the only one out there wanting more people to like your posts, especially when you've worked so hard on them!⁠👏🏻

But how do you make that happen?⁠

First of all let me just say, it's not ALL about likes, it's also about getting comments, saves & shares on your posts/stories!⁠🙄

Why do those things matter?⁠
⁠
Because this is how you will know if your content is resonating with your followers, which is V important for business.⁠🙌🏻

I'm not the first to say it.⁠
⁠
You've probably heard it a million times, "you need to engage with your followers to get more likes!" but what does that mean exactly?⁠

And how do you get it to work for you?⁠

Here are my 3 Rules of Engagement on IG:⁠
1. Say "thank you" & send a nice DM when someone new follows you (that isn't a bot)⁠
2. Don't just like a bunch of posts in one go & call it a day; AT LEAST comment on 2 recent posts because it comes off as more genuine (You SHOULD be genuine)⁠
3. Comment on the stories of your followers/ideal clients to start a potential conversation & slide into their DM's!⁠

Struggling to consistently create posts to promote your business & engage your following? 👇🏻

You have SO many great ideas when it comes to posts but find it hard to take time to put them all into action. You post when you can & you know you need to show up more but you don’t exactly have a plan for what you’re trying to achieve for your business using IG.

I FEEL YOU GIRL 😅 I used to be in the SAME spot but then I decided to do one thing to help myself:
KEEP IT SIMPLE.

Yep, that’s right!👏🏻

The reason I say that is because it’s easier to become consistent when you keep it simple & don’t task yourself with too much.

So start by Keeping It Simple with these 3 tricks that seriously helped me get consistent w/ posting👇🏻
1️⃣: Pick 2-3 days/week for posting
2️⃣: Choose 2-3 content categories
3️⃣: Create your posts ahead of time

Ok so you’re probably wondering “what are content categories & why do I need them” GREAT QUESTION!

Content categories are the drivers behind the way you to interact & build value with your followers:
Ex. Advice, Knowledge, News, Events, Offers, Opinions, Facts, Inspiration, Promotions, Offers/Services/Products, etc.

Why you need them:

Use these categories to brainstorm more post ideas or organize the ones you already have! Next, create your posts ahead of time & be sure to use an app for analytics or check IG insights to see the best days/times to post when deciding which days to post on!

Just like driving a car, if you can’t see where you’re going it’s pretty hard to get there. BUT don’t worry!

Here are 3 rules for getting clear on your IG business goals:
1. Pick 2 clear results to focus on
2. MAKE A PLAN TO REACH THEM
3. Outline the steps you need to take to get there!
4. REPEAT.
The reason I say repeat is because you need to do this over & over as you start seeing those results! Now you can totally expand on the existing ones by setting a new set of goals with bigger targets.
When this happens it means you’re seeing progress!🙏🏻✨
