Self-sabotage & self-doubt are really sneaky.
You might not realise you’re engaging in these behaviours.
But their effect is substantial.
if you find yourself avoiding a task because deep down you fear failure & aren’t actually sure if you can pull it off, that’s self-sabotage.
if you’re endlessly tweaking your website because you’re afraid it’s not good enough, you’re self-sabotaging.
Trying to uncover the root cause & real reason you’re procrastinating, sabotaging yourself or riddled with doubt can be a challenge, but it’s well worth taking time to start to peel away the layers.
To make a conscious decision to start making an effort to change your unconscious actions.
Use positive affirmations to counter negative self-talk.
Remind yourself of your achievements and capabilities regularly (keep an “achievements folder” of positive feedback from clients & friend and revisit it when your doubts arise.)
Break down your tasks into manageable pieces to avoid feeling overwhelmed.
Celebrate each and every small win to start to build momentum.
Recognize that done is better than perfect.
Accept that you ARE worthy of the success you’re working towards.
