🧡 Today, on National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day, our teams took time to honour Survivors, remember the children who never returned home, and reflect on the histories and experiences of Indigenous Peoples.

For us, reconciliation means continuing to listen, learn and build respectful relationships with the communities whose lands we live and work on.

There is always more to learn, and we’re committed to continuing that journey together.

It’s good to be back! ⛏️🎉

In early September, we safely reopened our Esker Site, with a focus on commissioning essential services and completing any necessary maintenance and repairs to camp infrastructure.

It's an exciting time in the Ring of Fire. Recent investments in regional infrastructure and critical minerals development, along with the approvals for the Webequie Supply Road and Marten Falls Community Access Road, are helping create the foundations for long-term regional development.

As we move forward, our commitment remains unchanged: working responsibly and safely, protecting the environment, engaging meaningfully with First Nations, and creating opportunities for local businesses, suppliers, and contractors.

It was great to be back at the Cen-Can Resource Expo in Thunder Bay last week⛏️ 🎉 .

As part of the Cen-Can Projects in the Pipeline Conference, Clyde Moonias, Community Relations Lead, shared an update on the Eagle's Nest Project and Wyloo's vision to set a new benchmark for sustainable mining in Northern Ontario.

The presentation highlighted the work ahead and reinforced the importance of meaningful engagement, strong partnerships, and ongoing collaboration with communities.

Thank you to Cen-Can for the opportunity to participate, and to everyone who attended the session and connected with our team throughout the conference.

It was wonderful to connect with community members at the Aroland First Nation Summer Festival.

Community Relations Lead, Clyde Moonias spent the day taking part in the celebrations and meeting with community leaders, members, and Elders, listening, learning, and sharing stories.

He was also given a tour of the community, which provided an opportunity to learn more about local initiatives, priorities, and the vibrant community that makes Aroland First Nation so special.

Thanks to everyone at Aroland First Nation for your warm welcome and a fun experience at the Summer Festival!

Our wildlife monitoring program at our Esker Site has helped us better understand the incredible range of species that share the landscape with us.

With approximately 20 trail cameras operating across the site, we collect more than 100,000 images each year. While some images are triggered by swaying grass or blowing leaves, many provide valuable insights into wildlife movement, habitat use and seasonal patterns.

A few of our visitors even seem to enjoy having their photo taken. 📸🐾

The real value of this program is that every sighting contributes to a growing dataset that helps us make informed decisions about how to design possible future development to minimise our impact on wildlife.

Responsible resource development starts with understanding and respecting the ecosystems we operate in.

On National Indigenous Peoples Day, we recognize and celebrate the rich cultures, histories, languages, traditions and contributions of First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples in Canada. This day is also an opportunity to reflect on our shared responsibilities to advance reconciliation and the importance of listening, learning and developing a deeper understanding of Indigenous experiences and perspectives.

May we continue to honour Indigenous voices, support Indigenous communities and work together – to nurture a future grounded in respect, understanding and equity.

Why do we love Thunder Bay? It has its own day dedicated to the world of mining!

Thunder Bay Mining Day is a one-of-a-kind event that brings together industry, educators and community members to explore the role mining plays in our everyday lives. Through interactive exhibits and hands-on activities, attendees of all ages can learn more about the industry and its impact.

What makes this event even more special is that it is run entirely by volunteers. A big thank you to the dedicated group who helps create an engaging and educational experience for the community each year.

And also so grateful to our Thunder Bay team for representing us so well, engaging with visitors and sharing insights about the work we're doing in the Ring of Fire region.

A wonderful event as always and we can't wait to see everyone again next year!
