09/09/2026
As the summer winds down and a new season of opera and concerts begins, I am sharing the bittersweet news that the 2026/2027 season will be the last for Domoney Artists Management, as I plan to officially retire in June 2027.
Over my 19 years as Director of this boutique agency, it has been an absolute privilege to represent so many wonderful emerging and established singers, directors, and conductors. When I first started, artists were still sending CDs and paper resumes by post! Since then, we’ve navigated the shift to video auditions, Zoom meetings, and even AI-written bios—how the world has changed!
Beyond representation, one of my greatest joys has been giving masterclasses to singers from university programs to Young Artist Programs, demystifying the agent-artist relationship for the next generation.
I am so proud of everything our roster has accomplished—performing on stages from Macao to Piacenza, Cardiff to Washington, and all across Canada. Our artists have championed important new opera premieres, and during COVID, brought music to life through our OperaBreaks video series.
It is business as usual for this final season, and I look forward to celebrating this year alongside our incredible artists and presenters.
After June 2027, I look forward to taking art history courses, visiting stately homes, and puttering in my garden in Toronto. My husband, who retired 12 years ago, has patiently waited for me to join him on more adventures—and there are plenty of pubs, distilleries, and museums calling our names!
Thank you to everyone who has been part of this extraordinary journey over the last 19 years. Here’s to a fantastic final season!
