This was honestly one of my biggest hangups.
I did not want to become an influencer, dance on camera, overshare my life, or feel like I had to perform for strangers online just to make money.
And thankfully, I didn’t have to LOL
I learned that there’s a big difference between being “internet famous” and simply being visible enough for the right people to understand what you do.
I’m 56, I still teach full time, and I’ve built this business alongside my regular life. No massive following. No pretending to be someone I’m not. And it has still generated over $45K for me.
So if the social media piece is the thing making you hesitate, I get it.
But that part is learnable, and it may not look anything like what you’re imagining.

I didn’t suddenly get less busy when I started this.
I was still teaching full time. I still had a life outside of work. And there was definitely never some magical stretch of empty hours waiting for me to fill. 😂
What changed was that I stopped asking, “Where am I supposed to find all this extra time?” and started asking, “What could I do with the time I already have?”
A little less scrolling. A little less waiting until I felt ready. A little more consistency.
And because I plugged into a business model that already had the systems and support in place, I didn’t have to spend years inventing everything from scratch.
That has now generated over $45K for me.
If you’re in your 50s telling yourself you’ll start when life calms down, I’d just ask you this:

The part I want you to notice this isn’t just the results.

it’s who these women were BEFORE them.

Most didn’t have online business experience.

They weren’t sales experts.

They didn’t have huge audiences.

A lot of of them were nervous about the money, unsure if they could do it, and definitely did not feel ”ready”.

They just got to a point we’re waiting felt heavier than starting.

So they plugged in, followed the system, asked for help, learned the skills and started messy.

And now look at what they’re creating.

That’s why I share these stories.

Because I want more Gen X women to stop assuming they need to be more experienced or more confident before they start building something of their own.
