Happy Women’s Day at last! It’s our favourite day of the year.

Today, we’re celebrating with our friends at Microsoft and Nobel Media who partnered to create the initiative “Women Who Changed Science” - a web experience designed to highlight the achievements of female Nobel Prize laureates who broke new ground in physics, chemistry, and medicine.

This is just one of many ongoing initiatives Nobel and Microsoft are undertaking to build female inclusion and diversity in STEM studies and careers.

Last month, SeeMe took over SoHo in its fittingly named Art Takes SoHo group exhibition. The exhibition was hosted in partnership with Tribeca Art Night and featured one-hundred artists who submitted their work for SeeMe’s third art submission competition. Artist Kaya Deckelbaum was named winner for her wire mesh sculptures which she frames with unique, transformative lighting. As winner Kaya earned herself an impressive prize package of a $5000 cash grant, a solo exhibition opportunity in SoHo, a feature in Tartarus Magazine, a video story spotlighting her work, and further exclusive PR opportunities.
If you missed out this time, join us for Art Takes Miami, in partnership with Art Basel, this December 6-9 at Miami Beach. The exhibition will feature artists from around the world and culminate SeeMe’s art submission competition 4 - currently accepting submissions (deadline: November 7th).
